Norwegian Dawn

A mid-size Dawn-class ship: refreshed in the 2024 refurbishment and a favourite on long, port-intensive itineraries, with an intimate sense of scale.

About the ship

Norwegian Dawn entered service in 2002 and was refurbished from top to bottom in 2024. At 92,250 gross tons and carrying 2,290 guests, she delivers NCL's dining variety without the crowds of the largest ships, and she can call at smaller ports.

Highlights

  • Port-intensive programmes on long Mediterranean, Northern European and Middle Eastern itineraries
  • Cagney's, Le Bistro, Teppanyaki and Los Lobos speciality restaurants
  • Mandara Spa and an open-air cinema screen

Staterooms

  • Inside, ocean-view and balcony staterooms, plus suites
  • The Haven suites: private butler, concierge service and priority boarding

Itineraries

The Mediterranean and the Greek Islands, Northern Europe, and the Middle East and Africa in winter; well known for programmes that call at Istanbul.

Casino on board

Dawn Club Casino: a mid-size casino refreshed in the 2024 refurbishment; slot machines, blackjack, roulette, craps and poker tables, along with Casinos at Sea privileges.

The casino is part of Norwegian Cruise Line's Casinos at Sea programme: play earns points, and points set your reward tier from Pearl to Elite and your certificates for future cruises. The floor offers slot machines from 1¢ to $100 a spin, video poker and live-dealer tables; table minimums vary by time of day, with high-limit tables up to $5,000. The casino host looks after slot and blackjack tournaments during the cruise, free-play promotions and table reservations. The casino opens while the ship sails in international waters and is closed in port.
