Norwegian Gem entered service in 2007 and was refurbished in 2026. At 93,530 gross tons, she carries 2,382 guests. Like every ship in the Jewel class, she offers an uncrowded, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Gem Club Casino: an intimate casino updated in the 2026 refurbishment, featuring slot machines, blackjack, roulette, craps and poker tables, along with Casinos at Sea privileges.
The casino is part of Norwegian Cruise Line's Casinos at Sea programme: play earns points, and points set your reward tier from Pearl to Elite and your certificates for future cruises. The floor offers slot machines from 1¢ to $100 a spin, video poker and live-dealer tables; table minimums vary by time of day, with high-limit tables up to $5,000. The casino host looks after slot and blackjack tournaments during the cruise, free-play promotions and table reservations. The casino opens while the ship sails in international waters and is closed in port.
