Slot machines

Slots fill most of the floor

The Norwegian Cruise Line fleet features more than 4,800 slot machines. Wagers range from 1 cent to 100 dollars, so beginners and high rollers alike will find a machine to suit them.

Types of machines

• Classic reel machines. Three or five physical reels, fixed symbols and fast play. The casinos feature classics such as Double Diamond, Cash Machine and Quick Hits Triple Blazing 7's.
• Video slots. The reels spin on screen, with bonus rounds, free spins and special in-game events. Dancing Drums, Buffalo Gold and Wonder 4 are among the most popular themes.
• Hybrid slots. A translucent screen set in front of physical reels combines the classic feel with video effects: King 7, I ♥ Diamonds, Goldfish.
• Video poker. Skill-based variants: Jacks or Better, Double Double Bonus, 3 x 5 x 10 Play Poker, Spin Poker, Ultimate X, Super Times Pay and the Game King series.
• Amusement games. Boardwalk-style coin pushers and prize machines such as Sega Key Master and Elaut Cash Crane.

Earning points

Every hand you play with your Casinos at Sea card inserted into a slot machine earns points; those points determine your reward tier (Pearl, Sapphire, Ruby, Elite) and your future cruise certificates.

Tournaments

Slot tournaments are held on many sailings, and on special event sailings prize pools range from 10,000 dollars up to 200,000 dollars. See the Events and tournaments page for the current schedule.
